Sámi Experience
A day with the Sámi people. We take you to Gállogieddi and Várdobáiki Sámi Centre. Two places where the history and traditions of this landscape are still alive.
We take you to Gállogieddi, a reindeer herder's farm dating back to the 1700s, and to Várdobáiki Sámi Centre. Our Sámi hosts share the stories and traditions of a people rooted in this landscape for centuries. Gather around the fire, gaze into the flames, and listen to the history that belongs here.
The Experience
We pick you up from your hotel and take you into a part of northern Norway that most visitors never find.
At Gállogieddi, a reindeer herder's farm that has stood since the 1700s, time moves differently. Your Sámi guide walks you through the grounds and tells the stories of the people who have lived here across generations. Around the fire, the history of this landscape comes alive.
From Gállogieddi we continue to Várdobáiki Sámi Centre, where culture, food and tradition come together. Before we drive you back, we sit down for a warm traditional lunch.
A full day. A different kind of story.
